Option 1: You make sure that these comments are recorded in line with your organisational policies and procedures. You ask Gary speak to Eileen again to see if he can find out more about why she feels this way, and ask Gary to give you an update before the end of the shift.
Option 2: You ask Gary to record this. You also ask him to be mindful of any further comments Eileen makes about this and to ensure that these are recorded as well.
Option 3: You tell Gary he was right to speak to you about potential concerns but do nothing for the time being. Eileen has made these comments before then changed her mind, so you are not concerned.
