The children have demonstrated good cooperative skills, they have been able to self-organise and agree the rules of their games. Some have demonstrated leadership skills helping others to understand how to play the games, then keeping them right regarding the rules of the games.

The whole activity has been good for some children’s self-esteem and self-efficacy where they have been able to demonstrate their knowledge of the games and skills at playing the games to other children .

This is a mixed age room and this story illustrates some of the benefits they bring for both the older and younger children, specifically their social and interpersonal skills development.
