Supporting induction for Adult Social Care across Scotland

This resource is intended to complement the induction and Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) provided by employers to support workers who have taken on a new role. It will support workers, together with their employers to identify what knowledge and guidance they need to be equipped and confident to safely provide person centred support to people in their new role.

The learning content is intended for workers in roles across adult social care. It is also relevant for personal assistants (PA). PAs should discuss and make decisions around what learning content is relevant with their employer.
