1. Apply an enhanced understanding of personal outcomes focused approaches to recognise and direct best practice in the support of people with dementia, their families and carers
2. Describe how relationships and valued activities can specifically support independence and wellbeing for people with dementia
3. Demonstrate knowledge of a range of assistive and innovative technologies for people with dementia; and of their safe, effective and ethical use in care and support settings
4. Describe approaches to risk enablement in the promotion of independent living for people with dementia
5. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of how the entire environment can affect quality of life for people with dementia
