SSSC has recently begun to develop a range of iPad apps to support workforce development. So far we have published iPad apps aimed a supporting the induction of staff and underpinning the core units of the SVQs in Social Service and Health and two apps focused on Dementia, with a third in the pipeline.
Work has recently been completed on a new smartphone application on the "Safe Administration of Medication". This is available for both iPhone and Android smartphones and was produced in collaboration with the Care Inspectorate. We are sure this will be very useful for staff across the sector.
You can view our full range of free apps at our app catalogue page. There are a number of other mobile applications planned, so keep checking the site and SSSC News for news.
