The learning zone has been developed to support employers to meet their obligations in relation to workforce development. Successfully addressing the full range of development needs for your workforce can be challenging and we hope this site provides you with some pre-built tools and resources to help you meet that challenge.
As well as making use of the tools we have here, we encourage you to use the examples provided as a source of ideas to create your own tools and resources.
The resources range from interactive PDFs to plan your workforce development activity, through to self-contained eLearning modules designed to support the implementation of the Scottish Vocational Qualifications for the sector. We have added a "Learning Zone" to the site where you can sign in to try these modules and also try out some new technologies to enhance workforce development. You can also download these modules to include on your own learning management systems. New eLearning materials will be added to the Learning Zone over time, so keep an eye on the "What's new" announcements on this page.
